This is a slow growing and attractive plant that forms myriads of sculptural monstrous and crested shapes.

Origin and Habitat: Garden origin (Nursery produced cultivar)

Synonyms:

Cereus sp. mostruosus cristatus (Clone A) hort.

Description: Produces lots of sculptural green monstrous and crested shapes with very short amber to reddish spines and woolly areoles.
Remarks: Some time this plant (of unknown origin) is confused with 'Cereus validus cv. Ming Thing' which is quite different having a blue epidermis with black spines.

Cultivation and Propagation: Prefers filtered light. Plant in a porous cactus soil with adequate drainage for best results. Water thoroughly during the growing season when soil is dry to the touch. Less or no water during cold winter months to prevent root loss. Protect from frost.
