Origin and Habitat: Uncertain. Perhaps Peru, Bolivia, or Ecuador.

Description: The classification of this plant is controversial (perhaps a form of Oreo SN'>5952' alt='5558'>Cereus aurivillus#SN#5558'>Oreo[[Cereus aurivillusSN' style='border:none;'> ? ) But according to Weingart, this it is near Cereus aurivillusSN|5558]] and, if so, it is a Borzicactus (Cleistocactus).
